Windows95 - Printer Port Properties

If you are running Windows95 on your PC, you can determine the Input/Output Range and IRQ No. of your Parallel Port(s) via

StartSettingsControl Panel
     SystemDevice ManagerPorts (COM & LPT)Printer Port (LPTx)Resources

Printer Port (LPTx) Properties dialog box

Depending on your hardware configuration, you may be able to alter the Input/Output Range of your Parallel Port(s) by selecting a different Basic configuration. (This could be useful for testing that your I/O software really will detect which parallel ports are present and where.)

This may cause problems with other software - local printing, for instance,
so I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT - do it at your own risk.

Uncheck the Use automatic settings box and choose another Basic configuration from the Setting based on popup menu.

Basic configurationInput/Output RangeInterrupt Request
000003BC - 03BF07
00010378 - 037B07

000303BC - 03BF05
00040378 - 037B05
00050278 - 027B05

Note: If you change the IRQ No., make sure there is no conflict, such as
